Africa Evidence Week 2021

We connected with 399 participants from 15 countries, representing 91 organisations during our incredible Africa Evidence Week 2021. Together, we made a significant impact on evidence-informed decision-making (EIDM). These participants actively took part in both online and live EIDM activities across their organisations. Join us again this year from 19 to 23 August to continue this momentum and shape the future of evidence-based policy in Africa. Check out some highlights from the event: https://www.africaevidencenetwork.org/en/learning-space/article/107/.

Africa Evidence Week 2019

In 2019, when it was launched, the #AfricaEvidenceWeek hashtag attracted over 399 online participants from 15 different countries, reaching an impressive audience of over 1.2 million people on Twitter. This remarkable engagement highlights the growing enthusiasm for evidence-informed decision-making (EIDM) across Africa. As we gear up for #AfEW2024, we invite you to join us in continuing to advance the conversation and promotion of #EIDM across the continent. Your participation helps drive meaningful change and ensures that evidence-based practices become integral to policy and decision-making processes. Africa Evidence Week 2019

The first Africa Evidence Week (AfEW) in 2019 was a milestone for the continent, with over 64 engaging evidence-informed decision-making (EIDM) activities supported by 31 African organisations across 14 countries.
